“Ozone Ready” means fewer chemicals. If your new hot tub us “ozone ready,” you can install an ozone generator to sanitize the water. This way, you won’t have to constantly use chemicals like chlorine. Ozone water purification is up to 3,000 times more powerful than ordinary water sanitizers and doesn’t have that “chemical smell” normally found in pools and hot tubs.

Preparing for Winter
If you live in a cold climate, here are a few tips to keep your hot tub working properly and efficiently:
  1. Keep your hot tub covered at all times when it’s not in use
  2. Make sure your cover has a good seal
  3. Use a floating thermal blanket to help save on your energy bill
  4. Check the temperature often to make sure the hot tub is working properly
  5. Set your timer to frequent intervals, cycling the water 2 to 4 times an hour
  6. Use it! Keep your hot tub running and your might use less energy than heating up to 200-300 gallons of cold water.

Safety is Essential
You must read all safety precautions in your user’s manual. Here are some common safety tips to keep in mind:
  1. Pregnant women should no use a hot tub without consulting a physician
  2. There’s safety in numbers; use your hot tub with a friend
  3. Never dive or swim under water in your hot tub
  4. Don’t use your hot tub under the influence of alcohol, drugs and medicine
  5. Immediately leave the hot tub if you begin the feel uncomfortable or sick
  6. Do not leave children unattended
  7. Always attach the hot tub cover after each use
  8. Never leave any electrical appliances within 5 feet of the hot tub
  9. Read and follow your owner’s manual and instructions!
